Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. It reminds us to cherish each moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we have lived.
Most welcome. No half decent ones of the Sarnath area unfortunately - it was raining when I went and immensely crowded, as it was sravan and there's a Siva temple somewhere nearby. Have only few of the chowk as well - must go back to take more photos!
Intense nostalgia comes. Thanks much.
ReplyDeleteNow for the Chowk, please :))
And while you are taking my requests, any good shots from the Sarnath area?

ReplyDeleteAlso, can I ask, what's the Benares connection?
Szer: I was born and raised *very close* to this Holiest of Cities :) and therefore know the place intimately.
ReplyDeleteWhen you say very close, like that, it makes me think of Chakiya or Balliya or some such place. Both those are where my family stems from.
