Happiness

Or, I got accepted to SOAS people!!! I am of course hugely happy and excited, especially since SOAS was (is?) one of my top choices. But I am mostly hugely relieved because now I don't have to spend the next two months worrying if I will get accepted anywhere at all. Though of course, I am still waiting for those results to come in before I take any final decision.
But also, SOAS is in London!! Squeeeee!!!!!

  10. Good stuff there.

Of course, this is just an excuse so that you're closer to Istanbul, isn't it?

Also, now we want snaps of green doors from here.

  11. SOAS is cool and the best thing is that it is at Russel Square which is one of the most happening places in LONDON.

I suggest that you try and get a place in one of the university of London common students hall, you get to hang out with best of the lot. I stayed at goodenough and that was a blast.

Aishwarya: Thanks! Terms start around end September.

Alok: Thanks...don't know about expert commentaries - there are already so many out there - but let's hope for more travelogues? :D

?!!: Oh yes! London - Istanbul only three hours by air ;)

Tazeen: hi and welcome! I love the bloomsbury area actually - with the British Musem and Senate House and all... I spent a bit of time there when I was in London. Yes, I think student halls are the way to go too - plus actually renting out in london is too expensive a proposition.
