The Venetians come pretty close to meeting the Indian penchant for sickly sweet sweets. They have great desserts.
This is what happens when I am trying not to study, even though I should be. I end up looking at random pictures I have taken! And now I need a snack.
Y-U-M-M-Y!
ReplyDeleteCareful, old Serb, you don't want to turn into one of them folk who upset me here
ReplyDeleteMmmmm Olives. :-)
ReplyDeleteOlives and cheese!
ReplyDelete(Not a sweets fan, myself)
lovely lighting on the first two.
ReplyDeleteand why again am I trying to lose weight??
ReplyDeleteshoot me.
TS: I know! :D
ReplyDeleteGeneral: Haven't heard of moderation or exercise have we?
Sines: :)
Aishwarya: I love cheese and olives. And I have a terribly sweet tooth. I'll be a diabetic soon :(
TR: London at 4 pm in December.
Miss: I gave up long ago :D
what camera did you use?
ReplyDeleteIt's a Sony. Cybershot something (too lazy to check)...the one with the huge ass LCD screen. But mines pretty old now (keeping in mind how fast electronic stuff become old).
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that people went about admitting that they use Sony Cybershots; it's a bit like admitting you listen to ABBA.
ReplyDeleteWhats wrong with a cybershot??
ReplyDeleteA Sony Cybershot is an excellent camera and there's no harm using it if you're Japanese and/or middle-aged and/or a page 3 socialite.
ReplyDeleteJust as no aspiring rock musician will ever admit to listening to Take That, no self-respecting amateur photographer would admit he/she uses a cybershot.
Oh well. It takes perfectly decent pictures and is convenient. And I dont have money to buy anything else...
ReplyDeleteinteresting. the response is really good -- the first thing i'd noticed about your pictures was the vividness of the colors.
ReplyDeletedespite the fact that i prefer to play in b&w :-)
you haff been tagged.
ReplyDeleteand why is it that my previous 2 comments failed to show up here?
ReplyDeleteTR: I don't complain about the camera....it's simple enough to play around with the settings. And I guess colours naturally appeal to me. It's the Steve McCurry influence maybe - I love, love, love his works.
ReplyDeleteP.S: Thank you for all the cambodia info.
T.A.P: Hmmm.....even blogger is acting up with you now???? What had you said in your comment? :P
And I'll do the tag - after my exams! :D
my pleasure. steve curry's absolutely great, i agree, but cartier-bresson's my man :-)
ReplyDeleteI *heart* cheese.
ReplyDeleteI cant stand anything sweet though.
And yes, that includes sugar.
(off topic)
ReplyDeleteThanks! and those are some wonderful snaps u have here.. esp the one with some fortress thingy atop a hill and an azure blue sky in the background.
TR: I like Cartier - Bresson loads too. But Curry's my man :) I met him once and couldn't stop gushing!
ReplyDeletePunkster: You don't like sweet stuff?? How can you not!!
And do you drink your coffee without sugar as well?? (Bleh!)
Twilight Fairy: And thank you! :)
I loved Borough Market always, not just coz whatever ingredient I ever needed I foudn there but the hseer sensory overload that the bazaar is. It's overwhelming even from a distance, far removed from the Old World sophistication of most of touristy London.
